D he 45-year-old Böhme has a degree in business administration and has been working in the automotive industry for 15 years. Böhme should improve the positioning of the brand in Germany, bring the DS product line successfully onto the market, implement the new corporate identity and further increase customer satisfaction. Böhme succeeds Peter Weis, who left the company last week by mutual agreement and with immediate effect.
Böhme comes from Seat, where he also held the post of Managing Director. The 45-year-old had only been at the helm of Seat Germany since December 2010, where he inherited Rolf Dielenschneider, who had previously retired. Before that, Böhme was head of sales at Renault Deutschland AG. At Seat, Böhme is inherited from ex-Fiat Germany boss Manfred Kantner.
