E it was actually only a matter of time before the 400 hp and 480 Nm 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder with turbocharging makes its debut in the Audi RS3 Sportback. The time has come for the Geneva Motor Show. This means that the hatchback version of the compact model moves in line with the RS3 sedan, which was presented in Paris 2016.
With 33 additional horsepower compared to its predecessor, the RS3 Sportback sprints from 0 to 100 km /h in 4.1 seconds. On request, Audi can increase the electronically limited top speed from 250 to 280 km /h. Either way, the standard consumption is 8.3 liters.Sportback equipped with sports seats in black nappa leather. On request, the driver and front passenger can sit in more contoured RS sport seats with integrated headrests. RS logos adorn the backrests of both seat variants. The multifunction RS sport leather steering wheel is flattened at the bottom. The dials of the two round instruments are black, the hands red and the scales white. The centrally positioned driver information system integrates a boost pressure display, an oil thermometer and a lap timer. The virtual cockpit (configurable display instead of analog instruments) is available as an option.
Like the RS 3 sedan, the RS 3 Sportback can be ordered in Europe from April 2017; the market launch will take place in August 2017. The basic price for the Audi RS 3 Sportback is 54,600 euros, the Audi RS 3 sedan is in the price list for 55,900 euros.
