D amit is according to the automobile club' Mobil in Germany 'The Mittlerer Ring is now the number 1 lightning mile in Germany. In no other German city is there so much lightning on a street as there is currently on the Mittlerer Ring in Munich.

On the Mittlerer Ring, in recent years three new tunnels put into operation. In the Petuel Tunnel, which was opened to traffic in 2002, there were originally no speed cameras. But they were retrofitted in 2014. At least with 2 speed cameras in each direction of travel. In the Richard Strauss Tunnel, which was opened to traffic in 2009, 24 speed cameras were immediately installed. The highlight was the Luise-Kiesselbach-Tunnel with up to 30 speed measuring points.

'Mobil in Deutschland' criticizes this total surveillance and sees motorists under the general suspicion of the 'lawn'. The automobile club demands the immediate dismantling of this superfluous mega-flashes.
