D er Showdown is imminent: The climate cabinet will meet next week. A comprehensive package of measures is to be published on Friday, September 20, 2019. Gradually it seeps through with which ideas the participants want to contribute. Now the concept of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMVI) became known. According to the 'Süddeutscher Zeitung', Andreas Scheuer's (CSU) department is putting together a package that should lead to a reduction in CO2 emissions of 58 to 69 million tons (today: 160 million tons) by 2030 in the transport sector.
