Consumption is 11.0 to 11.5 liters per 100 kilometers, and CO2 emissions are 258 and 269 grams of CO2 per kilometer, respectively. This is made possible by, among other things, modified direct injection with spray-guided combustion, piezo injectors and multi-spark ignition, the standard start-stop system and the seven-stage automatic.
Mercedes ML 500 4Matic Blue Efficiency now with 408 PS
Despite the savings measures of the Mercedes ML 500 4Matic Blue Efficiency from the significantly smaller unit (4,663 cc instead of 5,461 cc displacement) 408 instead of 388 PS. The maximum torque also increases from 530 to now 600 Nm from 1,600 rpm.
With the sprint to 100 things, the ML 500 takes 5.6 seconds and is only followed by the ML 63 AMG in this discipline 4.8 seconds topped. With both, however, acceleration is over from 250 km /h.
ML model year 2013 with small updates
In addition to the new V8 engine, Mercedes is also bringing new equipment details to the series in the coming model year. The Collision Prevention Assist (CPA), including the adaptive brake assistant, is standard on board.
Furthermore, Mercedes Accessories offers a 19-inch light alloy wheel in 5-double-spoke design and a redesigned 21-inch aluminum wheel. The Stuttgart-based company has new paintwork in cavansite blue or vermilion red as well as the revised TFT display in the cockpit, which now has a photo-realistic representation. There is also a modernized display concept on the Command screen and the Command Online infotainment system can look forward to the integrated vehicle emergency call.
