D he Sport Editions models, which only come with the exterior paintwork in brilliant blue metallic, feature a new front apron with modified air inlets, high-gloss black louvres in the radiator grille, a rear apron with a diffuser look, an AMG spoiler lip in body color and a twin-pipe exhaust system with trapezoidal tailpipe trims.
Further equipment includes an Agility Control sports suspension with 18-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, perforated brake discs at the front and brake calipers with 'Mercedes-Benz' lettering. Find 'Sport Edition' badges on the front fenders. The interior includes multi-corrugated seats, a black leather interior with contrasting stitching (other colors are optional), aluminum applications, sports pedals and special floor mats. The Sport Edition can be ordered for all engines offered for the E-Class Coupé and E-Class Cabrio.
V8 edition models still more exclusive
The V8 edition models are more exclusive, each based on the E 500 with the 408 hp V8 engine. 19-inch AMG rims and V8 edition badges are used here. The body has a special paint in gray or white, the leather upholstery comes in porcelain or red.
The surcharge for the Sport Edition is 4,367 euros on the respective base model, for the V8 Edition 7,973 euros have to be invested.
With the appearance of the two edition models, Mercedes is equipping all models of the Coupé and Cabriolet of the E-Class with comprehensive smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink. In addition, traffic information is now available in real time.
