K is combined with the one from the Mercedes E-Class well-known all-wheel drive with the 265 hp 350 CDI and the Mercedes CLS 500 with 408 hp, which can only be ordered from April 2011.
All-wheel surcharge is around 2,600 euros
The Mercedes CLS 350 CDI 4-Matic is supposed to accelerate from zero to 100 km /h in 6.2 seconds with its 620 Nm torque, the top speed is reached at a governed 250 km /h. In the Mercedes CLS 500 4-Matic, the 700 Nm torque is sufficient for an acceleration of 5.3 seconds and a top speed, which is also electronically limited to 250 km /h. Concrete consumption has not yet been specified, but it should be 0.2 to 0.6 liters above the conventionally powered models.
The prices for the new versions have not yet been calculated either. The surcharge for the all-wheel drive is likely to be at the level of the E-Class. Here around 2,600 euros have to be paid on top. It has not yet been decided whether other engines from the CLS range will also have all-wheel drive as an option.
