R and one billion euros Mercedes has in the extremely extensive facelift the Mercedes E-Class invested. In addition to a new look, which also heralds the end of the four-eyes-face, all models in the E-Class family will receive new or optimized assistance systems from the future S-Class. The engine range has also been extensively revised.
Highlights of the AMG version are the optional all-wheel drive and the once again more powerful S version of the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8, which now develops 585 hp>
In order to attract new, young customers to the brand, Mercedes is also pushing the new CLA-Class into the spotlight at the Detroit Motor Show. The four-door coupe based on the A-Class even towers over the C-Class by almost four centimeters, but the price should remain well below this. The small CLS comes with front-wheel drive, but can also be ordered with 4-Matic in combination with the more powerful engines.
