Under the hood of the Lotus Evora, however, everything stays the same Alten: The 3.5-liter V6 from Toyota still develops 280 hp at 6,400 crankshaft revolutions.

Lotus Evora in Geneva: Even lighter thanks to carbon fiber

The Evora weighs 1,382 kilograms as standard Libra - quite a heavy weight by Lotus standards. Lotus to shed a few pounds off the sporty two-seater the Evora has a roof made of carbon. While the rest of the body shines in innocent white, the roof and the front splitter, also made of carbon fiber, remain unpainted and thus provide a visual contrast.

At the rear, a carbon diffuser generates additional downforce at higher speeds. The rest of the body is made of aluminum as usual. In the interior, the dashboard made of carbon ensures further weight reduction. Floor mats, dashboards and headliners are covered with Alcantara. The L otus Evora rolls on 19-inch rims that are covered with 235/35 tires on the front and 285/30 tires on the rear axle. However, Lotus is still silent about the exact weight of the carbon Evora.
