Lotus 3-Eleven sets Hockenheim record

s port auto tester Christian Gebhardt has with the Lotus 3-Eleven drove an unbelievable time of 1 minute and 6.2 seconds on the small Hockenheimring circuit, thus defining the record for street-legal series sports cars. The 466 HP strong Brit rolled on standard road tires and had to cope with an outside temperature of only 8 degrees Celsius.

Beats them all in Hockenheim: Lotus 3-Eleven.

The 3-Eleven distanced himself with his sport auto lap record, including models like the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Gumpert Apollo and the Radical SR3 SL.

'The Lotus 3-Eleven is extremely fast and offers a lot of driving pleasure at the limit on the racetrack. It is the fastest production vehicle ever measured by sport auto on the small circuit in Hockenheimring, 'commented Gebhardt on his drive.
