1 In 991 he switched to exterior design, one year later he began working in the Düsseldorf studio, also for VW . In 1994 Klaus Bischoff became head of the design concept studio in Braunschweig. In 2000 he moved to Wolfsburg to take over the management of the interior passenger car department. During this time, Klaus Bischoff was involved in the interior design of the Bugatti Veyron and the VW Phaeton.
In 2002 he changed his position and became head of exterior design. Since 2004 Klaus Bischoff has been responsible for the 'Complete Vehicle Design' division. The Concept R study was created, the visual appearance of which is clearly reflected in the current Volkswagen model range. The VW mid-engine roadster also goes back to Klaus Bischoff.
