K en Okuyama knows what a super sports car has to look like In the service of Pininfarina he drew the Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, the one-off Ferrari Rossa and the anniversary study Maserati Birdcage.

In Pebble Beach 2017, the Japanese shows a dream sports car just as he imagines it. A Lamborghini Aventador was used as the basis for the 4.64 meter long, 2.13 meter wide and only 1.14 meter high code 0 piece. Okuyama drew the code 0 extremely wedge-shaped like his role model Marcello Gandini in the 70s had drawn models like the Lamborghini Countach, the Lancia Stratos Zero or the Ferrari Modulo.

Air tunnel under the C-pillar

The silhouette of code 0 is determined by a straight line that rises. It ranges from the tip of the nose, under which a large spoiler element hangs, through the elongated LED headlights and the A-pillars made of carbon fiber to the roof. From there the line bends gently sloping down to the stern with a high spoiler lip. The extremely wide C-pillars rise from the roof and run to the wide rear wheel arches. Large openings lead from the door parapets under the C-pillars. The angular rear is defined by large air outlets with translucent fan wheels and a powerful diffuser. In the middle, four tailpipes in a triangular structure make their way out. Visual carbon fiber elements distributed on the body provide further feast for the eyes. The 20 and 21 inch alloy wheels come from the Tuner Novitec shelf and are fitted with 255730 ZR 20 tires at the front and 355/25 ZR 21 rollers at the rear. It decelerates with ceramic stoppers with six-piston pliers and 400 mm discs in the front and four-piston pliers on 380 discs on the hindquarters.

The chassis of the 1,550 kilogram code 0 relies on horizontal spring elements and electronically controlled dampers. In terms of the engine, code 0 takes over the proven 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine from Lamborghini, which generates 700 hp and a maximum torque of 690 Nm. It is shifted by an automated seven-speed box, which also comes from Lamborghini. Doors that open to the front should not be missing. The interior was lined with different colored leather surfaces.
