B With a jeep you are in a party mood. 75 years after the first Willys Jeep saw the light of day, the anniversary has been celebrated for months, including with various special models. The Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute Concept is now a very special one.
Production on the anniversary
The date has already been chosen, which is steeped in history. The Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute Concept was built on July 15th, the day the US government and Willys Overland signed the contract for the production of the Willys MB 75 years ago. The Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute Concept not only cites this in the olive green color.
Equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 and manual transmission, the Wrangler is a short two-door model with 32x16 tires in the former asymmetrical military profile. The U-profile steel bumpers at the front and rear are provided with massive tow hooks.

The seats got an olive-colored cover and are shaped without headrests in the 'low-back' style, as a special gimmick there were also stylish round rear-view mirrors in the Willys -Style.
Some things have also been left out: The Jeep Wrangler 75th Salute Concept has no roll bar and no doors, and the longitudinal struts to the windshield are of course also omitted. The holiday model will remain a loner and currently adorns the large Jeep logo in front of the Wrangler plant in Toledo /Ohio together with a Willys.
