The new mid-engine sports car was created in the development center in Namyang. At Hyundai they swear that there are no plans to build the RM15 in series.

Spectacular: the large side air intakes in front of the rear wheels. The weight of the Hyundai RM15 is said to be 1,260 kg, with 43% on the front axle and 57% on the driven rear axle. The power that acts on this is provided by a two-liter, four-cylinder turbo direct injection engine, which sits across behind the two passengers and in front of the rear axle. 300 HP and 383 Nm torque wring out the drive shafts. It is shifted by a manual six-speed gearbox. In the best case, the RM15 sprints from zero to 100 km /h in 4.7 seconds. The suspension, on which 19-inch alloy wheels with 235/35 tires at the front and 265/35 tires at the rear, are derived from the WRC car. The RM15 also took over the war paint and spoiler from the WRC racer. The most distinctive extra is the large wing that sits enthroned on the stern.

Why go to the expense of further developing a prototype when there are no further plans for it? Despite racing technology and Brembo racing brakes, the RM15 on display is not a real racing car. The interior is that of a production car, not a naked racing cockpit with a bucket seat and cage. Whatever is being done in Namyang, Hyundai promises that the construction of a sporty car will be announced by November at the latest, with which the brand N will be established as a high-performance department.
