Hyundai i20 Active only with front-wheel drive
The concept for the i20 Active is well known. The chassis is raised and the body is planked all around with plastic bumper strips. In addition, indicated underride protection elements and redesigned aprons at the front and rear are used. The Active gets a railing on the roof and the wheel arches are filled with stylish aluminum. All of this doesn't necessarily make the i20 more versatile, but at least it looks like adventure.
On the drive side, the Koreans rely on an 86 hp 1.2-liter petrol engine and a 1.4-liter turbo diesel with 90 hp. Only the front wheels are driven.
