The new H yundai Elantra, which will be available in dealerships from January 2016, is slightly in Length and width too. The wheelbase and height remain unchanged. The design was changed significantly for this. The new Hyundai Elantra has the new branded hexagonal radiator grille, new headlights and standing LED daytime running lights on its face. The apron also offers standing air inlets, which should form an air curtain around the front wheels. The underbody was also clad aerodynamically. The rising belt line meets the steeply sloping roof at the C-pillar, giving it a coupé look. The tailgate ends in a spoiler apron. The LED taillights wrap around the flanks.

To the other features of the new Hyundai Elantra include LED-illuminated door handles, LED indicators in the exterior mirrors, high-quality interior materials, a two-zone Air conditioning, electric seats with memory function, a touchscreen infotainment system with online access, a TFT information screen between the round instruments, an emergency brake assistant with pedestrian detection, lane keeping and blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control as well as a reversing camera and gesture control too Opening trunk lid.

The drive portfolio consists of two motors. The basic engine is a two-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with 147 hp and 180 Nm of torque, which can be combined with a manual six-speed gearbox or a six-speed automatic. The second engine is a 1.4 liter turbo gasoline engine with 128 hp and 212 Nm torque, which is coupled with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
