Hyundai Creta builds on study ix25
D he Hyundai Creta is the series version of the ix25 SUV study, which has already been shown several times, and is based on the i20 platform. In terms of design, the approximately 4.20 meters long, 1.78 meters wide and 1.63 meters high Hyundai Creta looks like a smaller version of the Santa Fe. The interior design seems to be taken directly from the small car i20.
When it comes to drive technology, the Koreans rely on diesel and gasoline engines, each with a displacement of 1.6 liters. The gasoline engine has 123 hp, the diesel 128 hp. Switching can be done either manually or automatically. There is also a choice of power distribution - between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
The Hyundai Creta is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, an audio system and 6 airbags.
The Hyundai Creta will initially only be marketed in India. Other emerging countries like China could also be served by Creta. Europe is currently not on the list.
