H onda brings the SUV CR-V in the fourth Generation at the start. The completely newly developed Honda CR-V celebrates its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The SUV in the US specification was already presented at the LA Auto Show at the end of 2011.

Honda CR-V with a stronger character

The aim of the new Honda CR-V is to give it a more expressive appearance a more pronounced lines and a bolder contouring of the front section contribute. The lower part of the front bumper has been pulled up slightly to emphasize the SUV characteristics of the new Honda CR-V, while the front bumper has been integrated more gently into the front for better aerodynamics.

In the interior the new Honda CR-V should offer more space. The trunk volume under the now electrically operated tailgate should now be between 589 and 1,648 liters.

On the drive side, the new Honda CR-V relies on a two-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 155 hp and 192 Nm torque and one 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel with 150 hp and 350 Nm torque. The petrol engine can be combined with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The diesel generally comes with all-wheel drive. Both engines come as standard with a manual six-speed gearbox and a start-stop system, the diesel engine can be optionally equipped with a five-speed automatic. Later, a 1.6-liter turbodiesel with 120 hp and 300 Nm of torque will be submitted.

The CR-V will be available in German stores from November 3rd. The prices for the new Honda CR-V start at 22,990 euros for the 155 hp petrol engine with front-wheel drive. The 150 hp diesel with standard all-wheel drive is available from 28,975 euros.
