Fisker Force 1 is similar to the Aston Martin DB10?

Fisker cites a threatening letter from Aston Martin regarding the Fisker 'Force 1' study, which is to be shown at the Detroit Motor Show, as the reason for the lawsuit. According to Fisker, the automaker is said to have demanded, based on a teaser image, to cancel the presentation in Detroit or to change the design of the Force 1.

This endeavor is only done on the basis of a model on a press invitation showing the study from above. Aston Martin have probably already restricted in the letter that the final design of the study is not known. Nonetheless, the Force 1 was strongly rejected by the Aston Martin DB10, which the company produced for the James Bond film 'Specter'.

Fisker Thunderbolt - more about this in our photo show.

' It's a classic case of David against Goliath ' , says Henrik Fisker. 'Aston Martin tries to intimidate me in order to distract me from its own shortcomings, financial difficulties and product defects. I will not be intimidated, that is the reason for today's lawsuit.'

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal a spokesman for the company was not very anxious about the lawsuit, otherwise they wanted to leave the topic uncommented.

There is always friction between Henrik Fisker and Aston Martin. Most recently there was a dispute over the Fisker Thunderbolt, which was shown at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in mid-March 2015 based on the Aston Martin Vanquish. Fisker announced a production at Galpin Auto Sports. Aston Martin then filed a lawsuit alleging infringement of intellectual property. Both parties finally reached an out-of-court settlement.

Henrik Fisker was responsible for the Aston Martin DB9, among other things. The native Dane also created the BMW Z8 and worked for Artega and Tesla.
