Cadillac CTS-V after Hennessey intervention with 1,012 hp
D first of all to the base: At the Detroit Auto Show, Cadillac entered the battle with the CTS-V against the BMW M5 and E 63 AMG. His weapons: a 6.2-liter V8 with 649 hp, a maximum torque of 855 Nm, top speed at 323 km /h.
The team from Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) sharpens this weapon again and, according to its own statements, wants to make the CTS-V the fastest four-door sedan in the world.
Top speed should be 386 km /h lie
To do this, the compressor on the eight-end is replaced by two turbochargers, the engine and fuel injection are revised and, among other things, a stainless steel exhaust system is installed. Thanks to these modifications, the Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V should come to over 1,012 PS and reach a top speed of 386 km /h.
Only 24 copies of the 1,000 PS CTS should be -V, which are then also equipped with larger wheels, carbon brakes, widebody body kit and a few interior updates. For those who find the brute power too much, HPE is planning a civilian performance kit with 750 to 800 hp based on the compressor motor. Hennessey did not name prices.
