T retautos have a special meaning at the Goodwood Revival, because every year There is a special run for the youngsters in motorsport, in which the children move around the course with muscle power. The right device can be bought at the Bonhams auction as part of the Goodwood Revival Meeting (September 11th to 13th).

Model car for 13,000 euros

The range of children's vehicles is large - and the selection is also impressive. There are pedal cars, e-vehicles and even miniatures of classics that are powered by an internal combustion engine. In addition, a number of exclusive model cars and a Le Mans winning car on a 1: 2 scale.

This 'tribute' model celebrates the Aston Martin DBR1, which won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1959. The floor model was produced by the Evanta Motor Company in a small series of 59 copies. Number 3 of these is now up for auction at the Goodwood Revival Meeting. The 203 cm long, 83 cm wide and 53 cm flat model even has a chassis number: EVANTA-DBR1-003. With an estimate of 10,000 to 13,000 euros, a case for solvent collectors.

Ferrari 275 with Peugeot engine

Lot 191 is a bizarre combination, a Ferrari 175P on a scale of 1: 2, which is powered by a Peugeot engine. It is also a two-stroke engine. The little engine comes from a 1964 Peugeot moped. The driver controls the mini Ferrari like a big one - with pedals and a sports steering wheel. The model is 240 cm long and is expected to fetch 8,300 to 11,000 euros.

This model belongs to a group of 8 children's vehicles that are being auctioned for a good cause. The proceeds will go to the BBC Children in Need organization, which looks after disadvantaged children in Great Britain. If the minimum estimates are reached, around 30,000 euros will come together. However, a significantly higher amount can be expected.

Model cars for several thousand euros

In the auction catalog of the Goodwood- Revival auction also features numerous exclusive model cars that are hardly inferior to their role models in terms of detail. Lot 80 is such an elaborately built miniature. A 1979 Ligier JS22 Ford in 1:12 scale. The model maker Luigi Niola, known far beyond the borders of Italy, built this Formula 1 racing car on the basis of a Heller model kit. The body of the 31 cm longModel cars can be dismantled, the engine and chassis components are reproduced in great detail. Bonhams gives an estimate of 1,700 to 2,000 euros.

A 1: 8 model of a 1964 Ferrari 250LM by Javan Smith is even higher. The Brit is a regular guest at the Goodwood Revival Meeting, where he shows his exclusive models, which are mostly produced in small series. This is also the case with the Ferrari 250LM, number 5 of a total of 36 models now being offered. The estimate for the 50 cm long model car is 3,000 to 3,400 euros.
