Fuel prices 2010: gasoline was more expensive in 2010 than ever before

December was the most expensive month for fuel

The most expensive month for motorists was December: a liter of diesel cost 1.306 euros on average, a liter of super fuel 1.469 euros. The top value of a nationwide average of 1.49 euros per liter of premium gasoline was reached on December 23, for a liter of diesel on December 30th at 1.342 euros.

2011 will be nationwide New E10 fuel introduced with a maximum of ten percent bioethanol. According to the ADAC, this will create a new situation in the fuel market. The ADAC wants to monitor the market and inform drivers about current price developments.
