The V8 logically swallows even more: 13.5 liters per 100 kilometers if it is is manually zapped through the six gears. 12 liters, if the six-speed automatic can run. In the convertible version, the fuel consumption goes up a bit - regardless of which engine is connected to which transmission.

With the V8 units, however, what counts most is performance. 421 PS (in USA: 441 PS), 524 Nm, Vmax of 250 km /h and 0-100 in 4.8 seconds: This is how the new Ford Mustang throws the gauntlet down to the Camaro. And how does Chevy answer?

Specifications and prices for the Camaro, which will heat up in Europe from summer 2016, are unfortunately not yet available. In the US, it will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. Chevrolet is aggressively promoting the technical advances on the Camaro.
