U To underline the power of the model optically, a carbon widebody kit with spectacularly displayed wheel arches is installed. In addition, a special chassis ensures lowering and performance gains.

Painted in camouflage and with RAF cockade

The Ford Eagle Squadron Mustang GT is painted in camouflage green with yellow applications on the front apron and the mirrors. The blue and red cockade of the Royal Air Force (RAF) is emblazoned on the bonnet. Why?

In collaboration with Vaughn Gittin Jr., world drifting champion and owner of RTR Vehicles, the model was built in honor of American fighter pilots who served in the RAF during World War II and Great Britain with their P- 51 Mustangs defended. After the presentation and drive by Gittin in Goodwood, the unique piece will be auctioned for a good cause at an air show of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) in the US state of Wisconsin. The proceeds go to young people who want to learn to fly. For many years, Ford has been presenting a specially built model at the EAA show - in 2017 an F-150 Raptor in the F22 fighter jet style was auctioned for three million US dollars.
