T he sales of the Italian sports car manufacturer climbed by 8.8 percent 3.1 billion euros. Adjusted EBIT increased by 34 percent to 632 million euros. The shareholders can also look forward to it. The automaker plans to distribute a total dividend of 120 million euros, which is 0.635 euros per share. For the anniversary year 2017, Ferrari expects another plus. 8,400 vehicles are to be sold in 2017. Sales are expected to rise to 3.3 billion euros.

Europe remains the most important market

In the record year of 2016, Ferrari was able to deliver exactly 8,014 models to customers, 350 more than in the previous year. The strongest market for Ferrari was again Europe-Arabia-Africa with 3,610 deliveries, 2,687 were in America, 619 Ferraris went to China and 1,098 to customers in the Asia-Pacific region. The eight-cylinder models 488 GTB and 488 Spider grew by 5%, the V12 models by 4%. Ferrari did not give exact figures for the individual models.

On the other hand, other figures from the balance sheet are interesting. Engine deals bring Ferrari 338 million euros into the cash register. This is about engine sales to Maserati and the engine deals in Formula 1. Even more attractive are the deals around the brand name Ferrari (sponsorship, commercial and brand), which have a total of 488 million euros.
