D he Essen Motor Show occupies all 18 th this year Exhibition halls of Messe Essen. Compared to previous years, the event has not only increased in the areas of tuning and motorsport. McLaren Owner Exclusive, the newly founded department of McLaren Automotive, is presenting the new McLaren Edition SLR at the trade fair in the Ruhr area . The sports car is to be built in a limited edition of only 25 pieces. The new Volvo V60 by Heico Sportiv will celebrate its world premiere at the Essen Motor Show. In addition to the sports station wagon, the 330 hp sedan variant will also be presented to the public.
Historic sports cars from the manufacturers
Porsche will be showing a legendary car: the Porsche 917 KH Coupé, which won the Le Mans in 1970 -Overall victory won. First fireworks at the fair
Hyundai is showing the sporty Genesis Coupé in the production version with up to 303 hp and two refined versions of the sporty Genesis Coupé from the Mansory Design Center at the Essen Motor Show. The legendary Abarth brand is exhibiting sporty versions of Fiat models and Ford is using the fair as a German premiere for the new Ford C-Max. The Astra Sports Tourer will be on display for the first time at the Opel stand. In addition to the Fabia RS, Skoda is also showing the championship car of the 2010 German Rally Championship.
Honda CR-Z Slalom at the Essen Motor Show
Because the Honda CR-Z is already being launched in Germany celebrated a class win in slalom, every driver's license holder can test the hybrid sports car on a slalom course at the Essen Motor Show.
