D The lush fender flares, the double-flow tailpipes and the different alloy wheels speak for themselves. And the mouthpiece of the Mercedes C 63 AMG Black Series is the well-known 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which should produce well over 500 hp in the special series.

Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series with a martial look

Visually, the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series will be based on the SL 65 AMG Black Series. Solid aprons and sills, an optimized chassis and a carbon fiber /ceramic composite brake system will also be on board the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series, as will the seven-speed sports automatic. In addition, the AMG insignia will dominate the interior: door sills with logo, sports steering wheel, aluminum and leather finish and sports seats make the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series an eye-catcher.

The civil version of the new Mercedes C- Class is already on the road as Erlkönig, in early 2011 the refreshed W204 will come onto the market. The Mercedes C-Class, which has been built since 2007, will thus receive a slight facelift in the middle of the product cycle.

The Mercedes C-Class celebrates its premiere at the Detroit Auto Show and shows the audience at the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) new headlights and a modified radiator grille with a different arrow.

Mercedes C-Class: New rear lights, new bumpers

The bumper of the new Mercedes C-Class will also experience a design change. In the future, the rear will be adorned with modified rear lights and a revised rear apron, as can be seen in the Erlkönig pictures. The small facelift will also bring about some changes in the interior. The instrument panel is being completely redesigned. In addition, the new Mercedes C-Class will take over the assistance systems of the Mercedes E-Class.

These include blind spot assist, speed assist, Neck Pro, i.e. headrests that automatically fold forward in the event of one Accident, adaptive cruise control with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning and drowsiness monitoring. There is a start-stop function as standard, the five-speed automatic is replaced by the seven-speed automatic, the six-cylinder units are the new generation of Move engines. So stand in the futuretwo economy diesels are available: the new entry-level model C 180 CDI with around 115 hp and the C 220 CDI with 7G-Tronic and start-stop, which should only emit 119 g of CO2 per kilometer. The V6 diesel in the C 350 CDI will in future have 265 instead of 231 hp, the C 350 CGI will have a completely new 3.5-liter V6 engine with 306 hp with around 20 percent lower consumption.

At the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the audience can look forward to the premiere of the Mercedes C-Coupé.
