New VW Beetle Cabrio and Porsche entry-level roadster are coming
The VW Group can contribute a wide range of new models: Audi A1 Cabrio and A3 Cabrio, VW Golf and Beetle Cabrio as well as one completely new family of mid-engine roadsters for VW, Audi and possibly even Seat and Skoda at some point.

This is complemented by Porsche with a new entry-level model - based on the VW mid-engine concept. In addition, Porsche fans can look forward to the new versions of the Boxster and 911 Cabrio. But that's not all: Porsche is also working on two completely new fresh-air racers: a small series of the 918 Spyder and a Panamera convertible, the latter will come when the bodies raise their thumbs, but only with the new generation of Panamera.
BMW presents the new edition of the 3 Series Convertible in 2013 - without a cloth cap, but again with a retractable tin roof. But the Munich-based company has even more sharp arrows in its quiver, including the BMW Z2 Roadster.
The Mini Roadster, which the BMW Group was initially only seeing as a mini study at the IAA in September 2009, also has high head-turning potential has shown. This two-seater fabric roof car, whose cap disappears under a fixed lid, should give the sales of this model range a new boost.
