Z u see, however, is not very much. The front was slightly revised, the apron redesigned. Depending on the equipment line, the bumpers are unpainted, in the same color as the car or equipped with LED daytime running lights and fog lights.
The radiator grille is wider and sits lower at the front. For some more powerful models, the LED daytime running lights offered from the 'Feel' equipment level have been positioned differently. Two new paint finishes in gray and brown completed the new look, as did new seat covers.
Berlingo receives brake assistant
In terms of dimensions and space, the new Citroën Berlingo remains the same, also in terms of flexibility and functionality, such as the seat layout.
The Active City Brake System, available from November 2015, will be new. At low speeds, it should detect obstacles via a laser sensor and brake automatically. The new Citroën Berlingo also has a front parking aid and a reversing camera that sends its image to the new 7-inch touchscreen.
This offers a new navigation with a bird's eye view, the display of speed limits, consideration of the road traffic and the possibility of choosing fuel-efficient routes. Also: media function (including radio, audio streaming, connection for portable devices); Hands-free telephone function via Bluetooth, access to the contact list and hold function for the telephone call and setting options for vehicle parameters and voice control. In the new Citroën Berlingo, the consumption and thus the CO2 emissions of the Blue HDI engines have been reduced. The Citroën Berlingo as a commercial vehicle remains in the range in two lengths.
