
D he new models Seven 270, Seven 360 and Seven 420 are sorted between the basic model Seven 160 and the top model Seven 620. The new models replace the Roadsport 140, the Roadsport 175 and the Superlight R400.

The Caterham Seven 270 is powered by a Ford Sigma engine with 1.6 liter displacement and an output of 135 hp. The Seven 270 should manage the sprint to 100 km /h in 5 seconds, the top speed is specified as 196 km /h. The new Caterham Seven 360 has a two-liter, four-cylinder Ford engine in the bow. This generates 180 hp, accelerates the Seven in 4.8 seconds and enables a maximum of 210 km /h. The two-liter is also used in the Seven 420, but converted to dry sump lubrication and further fine-tuned to 210 hp. The Seven 420 sprints to 100 km /h in 4 seconds and reaches a maximum of 220 km /h.
The S and R equipment packages are also new, with S bringing a little more comfort to the radical roadsters. The R equipment further optimizes the suitability for the racetrack.
