That The system is not new and has meanwhile established itself very well with the European premium providers. Take a limousine, plant a powerful engine under the hood, sharpen the look and then build a whole family of models around it.

The GM Daughter Cadillac is going the same way and is now expanding again the model family of the Cadillac CTS -V. After the sedan and the coupé, the sports station wagon follows. The Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon also carries the 564 PS and 747 Nm strong 6.2 liter supercharged V8 under the hood. This can optionally be combined with a manual six-speed gearbox or a six-speed automatic. However, the power is always transmitted to the rear axle via a limited-slip differential.
The station wagon also takes over all sporting features of the sedan such as the sport radiator grille, the Aprons, the Magnetic Ride chassis, the Brembo brake system, the 19 inch rims with Michelin sports tires in the size 255/40 at the front and 285/35 at the rear, the Recaro sports seats and the leather interior.
D in the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon but the large, variable cargo space is reserved. It swallows between 720 and 1,644 liters and is almost twice as large as that of the sedan. Further combination equipment includes an electrically operated tailgate, a roof edge spoiler, a load compartment management system and an integrated roof rack attachment. There is also an optional large panoramic glass roof. However, GM has not yet given any information on the price and performance.
