D he makers of the Bremen Classic Motorshow (4th to 6th February) are pursuing a new concept this year and are launching the 'Young Classics' project. 'We exhibit cars from the late 60s to the early 90s that have only passed through very few hands and have extremely few kilometers on the clock,' says project manager Frank Ruge.

But not only that. The vehicles, which often come first-hand, are not only to be admired in Bremen - you can also buy them. The car with the lowest mileage is a Renault 4 from 1988, the odometer shows just 16 kilometers. The VW Beetle from 1974, which is also for sale, was driven 202 kilometers more.
In addition to the cheaper vehicles, sports cars of the highest category are also offered, a Porsche Carrera RS Leightweight from 1997 with 1,937 kilometers, a Mercedes-Benz 500 SL 6.0 AMG from 1989 with 22,171 kilometers, a BMW M 635 CSi from 1989 with 11,500 kilometers, an Audi Quattro Sport from 1968 with 36,500 kilometers and a 1974 Corvette C3 Bob Larsen Turbo from 1974. There are two sought-after classics from Italy that are extremely rarely available with this low mileage: A Lancia Stratos HF Stradale from 1973 with 3,500 kilometers and a Ferrari 308 GT4Dino from 1978 with 58,000 kilometers.

With the concept of the 'young classics', the Bremen Classic organizers want to break the usual pigeonhole thinking. 'We are concerned with cars that were often seen on the road in the past, but have almost disappeared today,' explains Ruge, 'and especially today's 30- to 50-year-old car fans can now fulfill their dreams from back then. And the image is that Brands don't matter - wanting to have makes these vehicles so appealing. '
Other vehicles on offer are an Audi 100 LS from 1976 with 8,000 kilometers and a Ford Escort RS 1600i from 1982 with 29,700 kilometers.
