R After handing over to Nota, obertson will continue to work for the company as BMW Group Ambassador for Great Britain until he finally retires on June 30, 2018. In 2008, at the age of 49, Robertson took over the management of Sales and Brand BMW. The Briton was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd.

On January 1, 2018, Pieter Nota will join the Board of Management of BMW AG and head the Sales and Branding department Take over BMW and aftersales of the BMW Group.

Pieter Nota, who will take over the BMW sales department from January 1, 2018, comes from Royal Philips to the BMW Group. The 52-year-old Dutchman is Marketing Director there and also heads the “Personal Health” division, the business area for consumer products and solutions. Before that, he was a member of the Executive Board of Beiersdorf AG, responsible for Marketing and Innovations, and held various management positions at Unilever in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Poland.
