BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics Edition Touring from March
While the BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics Edition has enriched the 3-series model range as a particularly economical sedan since March 2010, station wagon fans had to switch to the corresponding touring model up until now wait in vain. This has now come to an end, because exactly one year after the sedan, the economy diesel also made its debut in the BMW 3 Series Touring. The BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics Edition Touring is said to consume an average of just 4.3 liters per 100 kilometers despite its 163 diesel hp (CO2: 114 g /km). The maximum torque of 380 Nm is already available from 1,750 tours, which should help the BMW 320d Efficient Dynamics Edition Touring to accelerate to 100 km /h in 8.3 seconds. BMW puts the top speed at 223 km /h, the trunk swallows a maximum of 1,385 liters.
New X3 with more space and two new six-cylinders
Also the long-legged brother of the 3 Series, the BMW X3 , benefits from the current model maintenance measures. For the 2011 model year it will receive two new six-cylinder engines. The BMW X3 xDrive 30d has an output of 258 diesel hp, while the BMW X3 xDrive 28i is powered by a 258 hp straight-six. Both models have all-wheel drive as standard.
In addition, the X3 can be made sporty with the optional M package. In addition to a sporty chassis, it also includes aerodynamic add-on parts, special light alloy wheels and M inlays in the interior.
More xDrive variants for the BMW 5 Series
The BMW 5 Series is getting new ones for the 2011 model year Optional extras such as the full-color head-up display and additional all-wheel drive versions. In addition to the BMW 535i xDrive Sedan, the BMW 530d and BMW 530d Touring will in future also be available with xDrive all-wheel drive. They have an eight-speed automatic transmission with Steptronic and start-stop function as standard. Compared to the rear-wheel drive model, the BMW 530d xDrive now has 14 additional horsepower, so that 258 hp are available on all fours.
In addition, the two new individual paint finishes are available for all 5-series modelsChampagne quartz metallic and Amazonite silver metallic are also available, as is the new Merino leather upholstery and special 19-inch models. The BMW 530d is also available as a particularly economical Blue Performance variant with a six-speed manual transmission.
Five-seater BMW X6
Other innovations: the BMW X6 is future, with the exception of the BMW ActiveHybrid X6 Also available as a five-seater and can be equipped with a sports steering wheel and shift paddles on request. From spring 2011, BMW will be delivering a rear telephone with WLAN hotspot on request for the 7 Series.
