In addition, the new BMW 7 Series is officially allowed to wear an M badge for the first time, not as a real M model, but with a real M sports package.

BMW X1 with new platform at the IAA 2015
The new BMW X1 is presented at the IAA 2015 with a completely new concept . With engines now transversely installed, a new technology platform and more height, the new BMW X1 should above all provide more space than its predecessor. The new one uses the technical architecture of the two-seater Active and Gran Tourer and their front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is of course optional for the X1 at the IAA. The market launch on October 24th takes place with five four-cylinder turbo engines, whereby the sDrive 18d with the two-liter diesel (150 hp), front-wheel drive and six-speed manual gearbox is initially the cheapest variant. Top engines are the 231 hp four-cylinder in the xDrive 25d and xDrive 25i. The stronger variants are significantly more expensive because they usually have all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission as standard. Only with the introduction of the two three-cylinder engines at the end of the year will the base price drop below 30,000 euros.
It will celebrate its premiere at the IAA 2015, and it will not go on sale until the beginning of 2016 - the new and extremely hot BMW M2. It is fired by a three-liter in-line six-cylinder with a good 380 hp. When the M2 makes its debut at the IAA, it will also impress with its thick fender cheeks - which are supposed to be reminiscent of the first M3.
The BMW M6 GT3 is also impressive at the IAA 2015 on the BMW stand. The GT3 racer derived from the M6 is to replace the Z4 GT3 as a customer sport model. The GT racer with up to 585 hp and costing 379,000 euros is to compete in national and international series as well as in traditional long-distance races.

But also the BMW - Daughter Mini finds a place at BMW at the IAA 2015. The British show in Frankfurt at the auto showthe new Mini Clubman, which, as a four-door model, is now aiming for the premium compact class.
