
Z u have the Edition 50 models in the B5 as Sedan and Touring and in the B6 as a coupé and convertible. With the special models for the company anniversary, Alpina is giving customers 60 additional horsepower. In the Alpina B5 Biturbo Edition 50 and the Alpina B6 Biturbo Edition 50, the well-known 4.4-liter V8 Biturbo has a whopping 600 hp and provides a maximum torque of 800 Nm. The standard versions have only 540 hp and 730 Nm.
With this power plus, the edition models should accelerate from zero to 100 km /h in 4.2 seconds and reach top speeds between 323 and 330 km /h. The king of speed is the B6 Biturbo Coupé.
Alpina Edition 50 with weight advantage
In addition to the increased performance, the Alpina Edition 50 models are also equipped with further weight-optimized 20-inch forged light metal rims (- 15, 6 kg) equipped with visible wheel bolts. Wider tires are also used on the rear axle. Other updates include a reinforced rear brake and an optional 395 high-performance brake on the front axle. Dampers and control systems have been adapted to the new framework conditions.
The titanium exhaust system with valve control and carbon tailpipe trims from Akrapovic with a full sound and 17 kilograms weight advantage is also new. The Edition 50 appearance is rounded off by decor sets in Alpina blue or matt green. The B6 models also have a newly designed bonnet with two power domes.
Heritage interior on request
As a special treat, Alpina optionally offers Heritage interior fittings. Black seats are combined with green central panels with checked quilting in yellow and black. The design is intended to be reminiscent of the upholstery of the Alpina B7S Turbo Coupé from 1982.
On the other hand, special fine wood piano lacquer interior trims with an 'Edition 50' logo and an autograph by Burkard Bovensiepen are standard on board the special models are decorated as well as stainless steel door sills with Edition 50 logos. All Alpina emblems in the interior are made of silver and bear the year “1965 - 2015”.
When it comes to the price, however, the customer does not get anything for free. The Alpina B5 Edition 50 Sedan is available from 114,200 euros, the Touring from 117,500 euros. For the Alpina B6 Edition 50 Coupé at least 133,800 euros must be invested, thecorresponding convertible costs from 142,400 euros. The special models can be ordered now.
