Bentley Continental GT Convertible Galene Edition: All information

F at Bentley Mulliner is responsible for special customization requirements. For the Bentley Continental GT Convertible Galene Edition special model, the Bentley specialists brought experts from the British company Princess Yachts on board. The special series was named after Galene, the Greek goddess for calm seas.

The Continental GT with the V8 biturbo engine in the bow was chosen as the basis for the special model. The twin turbo has 507 hp and provides a maximum torque of 660 Nm. This is distributed to all four driven wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.

Yacht echoes inside and out

Finest leather, hand-quilted seams and very special precious wood applications characterize the interior.

In order to give the open four-seater plenty of yacht feeling on its way, the exterior of the GT with its special paintwork in “Glacier White” is reminiscent of the iridescent glitter of crystal clear water. The decorative strips on the flanks are in sequin blue in the lower area. The look of Mulliner's Galene Edition is completed with a dark blue hood and eye-catching, polished 21-inch propeller-style wheels.

Maritime echoes can also be found in the interior. The seats are upholstered in linen and Portland leather, while the hand-stitched camel stitching is done. Leather in the colors Linen, Portland and Brunel adorns the door panels, and Linen, Brunel and Camel are used again as accents for the leather surfaces on the dashboard, center console and armrests. The steering wheel is designed in Linen and Brunel and at theThe 12 o'clock position is provided with a camel stripe.

Special applications for the Galene Edition

The headrest embroidery also uses the color camel, while the storage compartment on the center console is in Glacier White and is lined with Alcantara in Brunel. The exterior paintwork in “Glacier White” can be found in the interior: in the center console case and the dashboard, which can optionally be provided with a handmade illustration of a mega-yacht, which complements the Mulliner lettering in every vehicle. This white tone also surrounds the watch frame of the Galene Edition. The precious wood applications were specially developed for the special model. Pinstripe Walnut, sealed with open pores, covers parts of the center console and the dashboard. Pinstripe Walnut can also be found as an insert in the illuminated door sill trims as well as a large area in the trunk of the Bentley.
