D he Isle of Man is best known for the racing events held there with cars and motorcycles. In the future, however, the local police can also make a big splash. The British sports car manufacturer Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) from Liverpool has now handed over a BAC Mono to the island police.

The single-seater, open sports car is based on a carbon fiber chassis and a 2.5-liter Four-cylinder that accelerates the mono, which weighs just under 580 kg, to 100 km /h in just 3 seconds.

On duty, the police mono is driven by Andy Greaves - an experienced car and motorcycle driver and specialist in accident investigations.
