I n the strongest of the three expansion stages, the performance of the Munich growers to a maximum of 580 hp and 750 Nm torque. The sprint from zero to 100 km /h no longer takes 4.6 seconds at this stage, but only 3.5 seconds. And in 11.2 seconds, the M3 and M4 sprinted from zero to 200 km /h - before the upgrade it was 13.4 seconds. At the same time, the top speed increases from the factory-sealed 250 km /h to over 330 km /h. These performance levels are achieved through larger turbochargers, special downpipes, modified charge air cooling and processing of the intake paths and by adapting the boost pressure and injection maps. If that's too brutal for you, you may tend to prefer the smaller performance kits with 490 hp (1,798 euros) and 540 hp (2,950 euros). What is the same in all performance levels: The 7-speed dual clutch transmission is included as well as the lifting of the Vmax limit.

Chassis, rims, springs?

Optionally, the performance upgrade can also be included Combine alloy rims, sport springs or a coilover kit. B&B also recommends installing an additional oil cooling system (1,495 euros). Among other things, the oil temperature could be reduced by up to 25 ° Celsius through more favorable flow conditions. With the adjustable threaded sport spring set (698 euros), the body can be lowered by 5 to 25 millimeters. A lowering kit with a fixed height reduction of 30 millimeters on the front axle and 20 millimeters on the rear axle costs 398 euros. A suitable coilover kit, adjustable in height, rebound and compression, is available from 2,069 euros. 20-inch alloy wheels on the front and rear axles are combined with tires in the dimensions 255 /30-20 or 305 /25-20 (3,950 total price).

In addition, B&B will soon be offering a high-performance brake system . The brake disc size is then 396 millimeters on the front axle and 380 millimeters on the rear axle and the brakes can then also be used under the original BMW M-wheels in 19 inches.
