A ll Caracciola followers should turn 10 Mark November red in the calendar. On that day, around 150 automobiles owned by the exceptional racing driver come under the hammer. This includes a driver's suit and gloves that he wore at the Donington Grand Prix in 1937 (limit 6,500 euros). In addition, his driver's glasses (limit 1,300 euros) and his driver's hood (limit 620 euros) are being offered by the Seidel und Friedrich auction house.

Caracciola estate with more than 150 automobilia

For the winner's ribbon from German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring 1932 is at least 2,500 euros due.

Lots such as the passport of the National Socialist Driver Corps, in which Rudolf Caracciola is named with the rank of NSKK storm leader (limit 2,200 euros) , or a bundle of two birthday greeting cards from Adolf Hitler and postcards from Nazi party rallies (limit 1,800 euros) are a reminder of his important role in National Socialism.

One highlight of the auction is the Mercedes-Benz 220 Seb with chassis number 111 01410029805 and engine number 127 982 10 024 420, which Alice Caracciola ordered in 1962 - three years after her husband's death. She had ten membership badges from various of her husband's automobile clubs affixed to the car. The car still had the original Swiss registration number TI-4444 until it was auctioned and is said to be in good general condition. The speedometer shows a mileage of 73,000 kilometers. The estimate is set low at 25,000 euros. Bidders should note that 19 percent sales tax is added to the knockdown price including buyer's premium.

300 SEL 6.3 by Playboy Gunther Sachs

One of the last real Playboys sat in this car: the Mercedes- Benz 300 SEL 6.3 with chassis number 10901812006212 was delivered to Gunther Sachs on March 17, 1972 and is now offered with a mileage of around 120,000 kilometers. In 2010 the car was thoroughly overhauled. The air suspension elements, rubber bellows, hardy disc, tie rods, steering dampers and the steering gear were renewed. The entire underbody was ice-blasted and the vehicle cavity sealed. The 300 SEL 6.3 goes up for auction on November 10th with a limit of 40,000 euros.
