EnBW is testing charging infrastructure for e-vehicles in Stuttgart

Electric vehicles are part of the future, writes EnBW on its homepage. EnBW regards the development of particularly light and powerful batteries as a real quantum leap. The first hybrid vehicles as well as purely electronically operated cars, vans and scooters are now technically ready for the mass market. EnBW is also driving this innovation forward by providing the charging infrastructure for road users. With a charging infrastructure in the Stuttgart area and later also in Karlsruhe, EnBW wants to enable the electric pioneers to easily charge their electric vehicles in public areas '> In order to expand charging stations and the intelligent network as needed, EnBW will test the real driving and charging behavior of 500 electric scooter test participants in the Stuttgart area from July 2010 to June 2012 as part of the Stuttgart model region.
