D as announced the company at the presentation of the new Audi A8 in Malaga.
The sale of the sedan, which has grown to 5.14 meters, will begin at prices from 89,300 euros with a V8 petrol engine that develops 372 hp and should consume 9.5 liters ( CO2 emissions: 219 g /km). There is also a 4.2 liter diesel with 351 hp (7.6 liters, 199 g /km) for 90,800 euros and, shortly after its market launch, a V6 TDI with an automatic start-stop system. It costs at least 72,200 euros and is on the list with 250 hp, 6.6 liters and 174 g /km. Audi is initially combining all three engines with all-wheel drive and a new eight-speed automatic.
The A8 surcharge list ranges from the MMI navigation system to the 20-inch models
In addition to 20-inch aluminum wheels (2,650 euros), the surcharge list for the new Audi A8 also includes adaptive light including sliding headlight range adjustment (800 euros), LED headlights for 1,800 euros and a comfort seat package for the two front passengers for 2,500 euros. If you want to enjoy a massage while driving, you can order the seat ventilation and massage function for a further 1,610 euros. For an impressive 4,090 euros extra, Audi equips the rear with electrically adjustable individual seats. The four-zone deluxe automatic air conditioning ensures the perfect climate on board for 1,200 euros. The through-loading facility including ski bag, on the other hand, is comparatively cheap at 340 euros. A parking heater burdens the budget with a further 1,520 euros.
The Ingolstadt-based company is charging a surcharge of 2,900 euros for the new MMI navigation system, and a DVD /CD changer costs a further 550 euros. For 6,500 euros, the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System provides the crew with the finest sound.

The first model expansion for the summer is a 204 PS 3.0 TDI with front-wheel drive. It will not only push the price below 70,000 euros, but according to Audi, with 6.0 liters and 159 g /km, it is also the most economical sedan in the luxury class. At the same time, the manufacturer is preparing a hybrid variant. It should already be at the Geneva Motor Show (4th until March 14) will be shown as a study, but should not come on the market before 2011. The engineers are preparing for thisalso at the upper end of the model range: 'The twelve-cylinder and the long version are firmly planned, and we can also produce an S model if there is enough demand,' said a company spokesman. The first variants of this trio will be on display in April at the Beijing Motor Show.
