D he new edition from Artega is called Scalo - der The name Scalo is derived from a racehorse - and is purely electrically powered. The VW VR6 engine flew out of the engine compartment and was replaced by two electric motors with a total output of 300 kW and 780 Nm torque. Artega even states the peak power is 390 kW. The two electric motors drive the rear wheels via a single-stage gearbox. In the best case, the 1,585 kg Artega Scalo sprints from zero to 100 km /h in 3.9 seconds, the top speed is limited to 250 km /h.

With a total capacity of 37 kWh, the Artega Scalo should be able to achieve a range of up to 400 km. The driver controls the degree of recuperation from the steering wheel. With a remaining capacity of 25%, the maximum speed is limited to 200 km /h to extend the range. Depending on the charging current, the charging time for the battery pack is between one hour (64 kW) and ten hours (220V).
