P remiere celebrates the Alpina B3 GT3 special model at the Tokyo Motor Show. Limited to 99 units worldwide, the Alpina B3 GT3 will be available in Germany from spring 2012.
Alpina B3 GT3 develops 408 hp
The Alpina B3 GT3, which is only available as a coupé, is powered by a three-liter in-line six-cylinder with twin-turbo charging. A new exhaust system with titanium rear silencers increases the performance compared to the normal B3 models by eight to 408 hp. The maximum torque increases to 540 Nm, which is passed on to the rear wheels by a six-speed sports automatic. In the best case, the 1.5-tonne B3 GT3 accelerates from zero to 100 km /h in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is reached at 300 km /h. The average consumption should be 9.6 liters.
The equipment of the Alpina B3 GT3 includes 19-inch light alloy wheels with 245/35 tires at the front and 265/35 at the rear, a differential lock, high-performance braking system with six-piston calipers and 380 discs at the front and 355 discs and four-piston calipers on the rear axle. An extensive aerodynamic kit with diffuser, rear and front spoiler and splitter enhances the look. The fully adjustable coilover kit has been made even sportier. A nameplate with a consecutive serial number indicates the exclusivity.
Prices for the special model have not yet been named. The prices for the normal Alpina B3 Coupé start at 63,300 euros.
