The results of the first expansion stage could be seen . And, frankly, there is no huge increase in performance after the second expansion stage. The tuners from Friedrichshafen are increasing the performance of the new, now called 'Centurion 1plus' 4 C for just six HP and 20 Nm. In order to sharpen the performance of the Alfa, he was prescribed a weight reduction.

Although many parts are made of carbon in the production version of the 4C, Pogea Racing is expanding that even further: Now there are front apron, rear apron, diffuser and Rear spoiler made of carbon fiber and built into the vehicle with a perfect fit. In addition to lightweight construction, the focus was also on aerodynamics and gave the Alfa an additional 35 kilograms (at 160 km /h) of downforce on the rear axle with a combination of diffuser and rear wing.

Six more horsepower in the Pogea Alfa 4C

As far as the drive unit is concerned, the Friedrichshafen-based company has combined optimized engine and transmission management with a sports air filter and a sports exhaust system. With 319 hp (455 Nm), the four-cylinder turbo unit accelerates the Centurion 1plus to 100 km /h in 3.8 seconds (series: 4.5 s). The sprint to 200 kilometers per hour only takes 14 seconds. This increase in performance is not only due to the optimization of the engine or the improvement of the aerodynamics, but also results from a significant reduction in switching times. The dual clutch electronics optimized by Pogea shift through the gears up to 55 percent faster than the series counterpart. And the top speed also benefits from the Pogea measures: The end of acceleration is only reached at 305 km /h (series: 258 km /h).

The chassis components have also been optimized by Pogea. The KW coilover kit PCS3 - consisting of four sport dampers in one unit with four progressively wound lowering springs - pushes the vehicle's center of gravity by up toto 50 millimeters. As far as the wheel-tire combination is concerned, Pogea installs ultra-light, forged XCUT rims in the dimensions 8.5 x 18 'and 9.5 x 19' with tires of size VA 225/40 ZR18 and HA 265/30 ZR19.

Last but not least, Pogea is replacing a number of series parts with high-tech components from motorsport: special silicone hoses for boost pressure and exhaust manifold cooling, steel braided brake lines, etc. All in all, the Centurion 1plus is 37 kilograms lighter than the series. Anyone who is actually thinking of getting the racy Italian should hurry up - the Centurion 1plus is limited to 10 copies. But on the other hand, the Racer also costs 79,950 euros.
