According to an evaluation of the magazine a uto motor und sport based on the data from the meinauto.de portal, the discounts reach a peak of 37%. VW is thus currently at the level of other large volume brands.
The Allstar special models from Beetle, Jetta, Golf, Golf Sportsvan, Polo, Scirocco and Sharan alone offer price advantages of up to 3,600 euros and an extended warranty five years with a maximum mileage of 150,000 km. This would normally cost an additional 1,050 euros for the Golf, for example, and 2,200 euros for the Sharan.
But even those who are not interested in special models can get high discounts at VW. According to meinauto.de, the price reductions in January are between 11 and 37 percent, depending on the VW model. The highest discounts are available for the Beetle (up to 37%), Jetta (up to 33%), CC (up to 31%) and Golf Cabrio (up to 30.5%) models. VW grants high discounts of up to 28.5% (Up) and 25% even for models that are in high demand, such as the Up and Golf.
In comparison: At Skoda, the discounts vary between 16 and 26 percent, at Opel between 15 and 31 percent and at Ford between 15 and 33 percent. This is followed by Hyundai (11 to 33%), Audi (8 to 30%), BMW (8 to 25%) and Mercedes (7 to 17%).
