A n the third weekend in June, the Nürburgring is holding a concentrated motorsport Program ready, which especially fans of classics get their money's worth. From the historic Formula 1 car to touring cars and GT cars, everything is on offer at the Eifel Race. The Group C sports prototypes with their own race are new in the program.

In addition to all the racing cars that can be admired in the paddock, there is of course also a lot of action on the track. At the Eifelrennen on the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife, participants from five historic racing series gather: Classic Trophy, FHR Roschmann Cup, FHR Classic Super Cup, 100-Mile Trophy and Triumph Competition. There are also regularity tests on the Nordschleife and the Eifel sprint of the HTGT touring cars and GTs.

Large exhibition of pre-war models

Those who are more interested in pre-war models will also found something. The focus is on the meeting of the Classic Drivers Club in the historic paddock, there is also a regularity test and an elephant race in which the Mercedes-Benz from the era before the Silver Arrows meet the 'Bentley Boys' from the same era. Another highlight is the meeting of the vehicles from the former DRM and DTM.

If you want to get behind the wheel yourself, we recommend the 'trial courses' under the guidance of experienced instructors. After a theoretical introduction, the participants can complete their first kilometers on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The regularity tests are ideal for more experienced pilots. There is a group of vehicles built up to 1965 (GLP I), another from 1966 - 1980 (GLP II) and a pure pre-war GLP (this then only on the Grand Prix circuit).
