W he wants more driving dynamics in his BMW 5 Series , is operated by AC Schnitzer with various performance kits. A performance update for the 540i is already available. Its three-liter straight-six increases from 340 to 400 hp. The kit for the 530d is also already available. The diesel engine increases from 265 to 315 hp. The packages for the M550i, 530i and 520d models are still in preparation.
Various sound options
If it is only about the look in the engine compartment, AC Schnitzer can already offer all engine versions Offer optics package. AC Schnitzer also has the right offer for fans of sporty sounds. A sound module that can be controlled via a remote control makes the motorsport feeling audible for drivers of all models. 5 touring drivers have to be patient until they get the performance of their vehicle 'on their ears'. The corresponding components for the station wagon are in preparation. As an alternative, the tuner also offers “Quad Sport” tailpipe trims for the 520d, 530d and 540d diesel models, which are optionally available with a chrome or black finish. For the petrol engine in the 5 Series, AC Schnitzer is still working on double-pipe rear silencers made of stainless steel, each with two “Sport” end trims, chrome-plated or black.
Lowering is already possible for all models, however. Whether 5 Series Sedan, Touring, petrol or diesel - with specially matched suspension spring sets, the body drops by 25 mm on the front axle and by 20 mm on the rear axle compared to the series
Of course, a BMW from the tuner AC Schnitzer stable shouldn't be missing new aerodynamic components. Carbon mirror covers and special rear apron films are available for all models. Vehicles with M technology can be upgraded with a new front spoiler element (optionally made of carbon), a front splitter, new side skirts and a rear diffuser. A rear roof spoiler and a rear spoiler are also available for the sedans. A carbon racing rear wing will even be available for the sedan shortly. For the Touring, the rear roof wing is also available, which generates additional downforce and reduces air resistance.
AC Schnitzer evaluates the interior of the new 5-series models with aluminum pedals and dark aluminum decorative elements the center console, onespecial key holder and velor floor mats with tuner logo.
