A b brings the current Skoda Octavia RS with gasoline engine under the Hood maximum 230 PS and 350 Nm at the start. But when the station wagon from the Czech Republic goes through the hands of tuner Abt from the Allgäu, the two-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine gushes up to 315 PS thanks to new software and a sports catalytic converter. The maximum torque increases to 450 Nm due to the intervention. The top speed increases to 252 km /h, the sprint time drops to 6.3 seconds.
To ensure that all the power is always safely brought to the track despite front-wheel drive, Abt also installs its own in-house suspension springs. These bring the Octavia Combi 20 mm closer to the asphalt, which both improves cornering performance and ensures a sportier look. A practical side effect: the loading sill is also lower.
Exclusive rims for special models
While performance enhancements and sport springs come from the normal range from Abt, the mounted light alloy rims are not available like this: Because the Light alloy rims of the type ABT ER-C were exclusively painted for this special series in the 'matt black' finish, which is not normally available. The light alloy wheels measuring 8.5 x 19 inches ET45 are fitted with high-performance summer tires measuring 225/35 R19. The package also includes the 18-inch standard wheels that are fitted with winter tires.
