VW iD.3 and ID.4 on subscription

Volkswagen offers the VW ID.3 and VW ID.4 e-cars as a subscription. More than 2,000 electric cars should be available in the coming months.

The car group plans that 20 percent of sales will come from subscriptions and other mobility offers by 2030. "More and more people no longer want to own a car permanently, but want to use it exclusively for a period of time. With the Volkswagen car subscription, the company has developed a "flexible offer between leasing and sharing", says Board Member for Sales Frank Zellmer.

VW subscription for 499 euros a month

The subscription costs at least 499 euros for a VW ID.3. The minimum term is six months - for a minimum term of three months the price increases to 589 euros. After that the subscription can be canceled at any time. It is more expensive That's the case with the ID.4: A subscription with a minimum term of six months costs EUR 649 and for three months EUR 739.

Except for the electricity to charge the e-cars, (almost) everything is included: 800 free kilometers per month, registration service, Main inspection, maintenance, inspection, insurance and tax. The subscriber's driver's license must be at least one year old. Within 14 days, VW will deliver the ordered vehicle to the customer.

Handel vo n VW already integrated

Trade is directly integrated for the maintenance, repairs and inspections that arise. In the future, customers will be able to take out their subscription directly from the retailer.

A few months after the start of the new Volkswagen car subscription, the Wolfsburg-based company would also like to offer leasing and sales deals online. This should give the manufacturer a further digitization push.

Conclusion

VW offers a convenient solution for all those who do not want to buy their own car but would like to enjoy the luxury of individual mobility. Although all costs are included in the subscription except for electricity for e-cars, 499 euros can deter some interested customers from taking out the subscription.
